Election of Trainees’ Committee for the Fourteenth RANZCOG Council
Casual vacancy call for nominations
Following the close of the call for nominations, the number of nominations received did not meet the number of vacancies for the following positions, and therefore, a casual vacancy election will be conducted for these positions, in accordance with section 2.9 of the Election of the RANZCOG Trainees’ Committee Members Policy and Procedure.

Election of Subspecialty Committees for the Fourteenth RANZCOG Council
Casual vacancy ballot
Following the close of casual vacancy call for nominations on Wednesday, 10 September 2025, the number of nominations received for the following positions exceeded the number of vacancies. Therefore, in accordance with Section 2.8 of the Election of Representatives onto Subspecialty Committees Committee Policy and Procedure, a casual vacancy ballot will be conducted.
- Casual vacancy ballot open: 10.00am AEST Wednesday, 17 September 2025
- Casual vacancy ballot close: 12.00pm AEST Wednesday, 24 September 2025
Election of State & Territory Committees and Aotearoa New Zealand Committee for the Fourteenth RANZCOG Council
Casual vacancy ballot
Following the close of nominations on Thursday, 14 August 2025, the number of nominations received for each of the following positions exceeded the number of vacancies. Therefore, in accordance with section 2.15 of the Election of State and Territory Committees / Aotearoa New Zealand Committees Members Policy and Procedure, a casual vacancy ballot will be conducted for these positions for the term of the Fourteenth RANZCOG Council, to take office from October 2025 to October 2027.
- Casual vacancy ballot open: 10.00am AEST on Thursday, 25 September 2025
- Casual vacancy ballot close: 12.00pm AEST on Thursday, 2 October 2025
Second call casual vacancy call for nominations
Following the close of nominations on Thursday, 14 August 2025, the number of nominations received for the following positions was less than the number of vacancies on the applicable committees. Therefore, in accordance with section 2.15 of the Election of State and Territory Committees / Aotearoa New Zealand Committees Members Policy and Procedure, a second call casual vacancy election will be conducted for these positions, for the term of the Fourteenth RANZCOG Council, to take office from October 2025 to October 2027.
Please note that there will be no further calls for nominations made for positions on the S&T Committees for the term of the Fourteenth RANZCOG Council, following the conclusion of the second call casual vacancy call for nominations.

The RANZCOG Board and Council congratulates the successful nominees on their election.
Pursuant to clause 8.1.5 of the RANZCOG Constitution, the above Councillors for the Fourteenth RANZCOG Council will be declared formally elected in the business of the 2025 Annual General Meeting. Further pursuant to clause 10.4 of the RANZCOG Constitution, the elected Councillors shall assume office at the conclusion of the 2025 Annual General Meeting.
