Participation
As a participant in the RANZCOG mentoring program, you will be asked to:
- Agree to the code of conduct across the course of the program
- Commit sufficient and consistent time towards the program and to your mentor/mentee
- Reflect on your practice and development experiences
- Mentoring is also an approved CPD activity. Time spent participating in mentoring can be credited towards your CPD hours.

- Facilitated networking events to further build on your mentoring partnership

Mentorloop
RANZCOG has partnered with Mentorloop to facilitate the mentoring program.
Mentorloop provides the following options for matching with a suitable mentoring partner:
- Self-matching: view program profiles to select a mentoring match that best suits your needs
- Algorithm matching: use an automated matching strategy to assist you with a mentoring match

Terms and conditions
At the time of registration all participants will be asked to read and agree to the RANZCOG Mentoring Program terms and conditions. We ask all participants to also please read the RANZCOG Code of Conduct prior to commencing the mentoring program.
- I acknowledge that my mentor is not obligated to assist in securing employment for me.
- I understand that being matched with a mentor does not imply that the mentor will act as an advocate or represent me in any capacity.
- While every effort will be made to facilitate mentor-mentee matches, the College does not guarantee that all participants will be matched, as this is subject to participant availability and time constraints.
- Participants of the Mentorship program participate voluntarily and act in their personal capacity. Any advice provided by a mentor does not reflect the views of the College and should not be considered professional advice from the College.
- Participants of the Mentorship program must act in accordance with the RANZCOG Code of Conduct and maintain professional relationships at all times. The mentoring relationship is limited to the scope of the RANZCOG Mentoring Program, and neither mentors nor mentees are expected to maintain a relationship beyond the program.
- The College disclaims all liability for any actions or interactions that occur outside the scope of the RANZCOG Mentoring Program.
